1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon lemon extract
3 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup Atkinson's Plain Yellow Corn Meal
1/2 cup raisins
Cream butter; add sugar gradually and cream well. Beat in eggs until light and fluffy.
Add lemon extract. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and cornmeal. Add to creamed mixture mixing thoroughly. Add rasins.
Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness on lightly floured board; cut with floured cookie cutter.
Bake on greased baking sheet in moderately hot oven (400°F.) 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
